Search Terms
When you type a name, location, or other search detail into a partner search box, that query is sent to the third-party provider operating the tool. Ocean County Inmate Population does not store or log those search terms on its own system.
Messages
If you email us or send a message through a contact method, we use that information to read and answer the message. We do not share contact messages outside our organization unless a valid legal requirement makes disclosure necessary.

New Jersey public-record portals may process requests under OPRA, N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq., and under their own agency rules.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and show targeted ads. That tracking is handled by those partners, not by an Ocean County government office.
